💖 CaringWishes: Kindness Made by Hand, Shared from the Heart
Welcome to CaringWishes.org — a project born from one student’s journey to bring comfort, connection, and hope to hospital patients through simple, handmade gestures.
My name is Ananya, and I started this mission after volunteering at a local hospital during summer breaks. Working closely with patients and medical staff in the Cardiology Department opened my heart to the healing power of kindness — not just through medical care, but through human connection.
What began as helping with daily tasks turned into something deeply personal: creating wellness cards filled with uplifting words and crafting no-sew fleece blankets that offer warmth and love. Every item I make is a small gift of encouragement, meant to bring light into someone’s day — especially during moments when it’s needed most.
This site is a reflection of that purpose. I hope it inspires you to believe — as I do — that even the smallest act of care can make a big difference.

500+
Alongside creating over 500 heartfelt wellness cards, I’ve also made and distributed numerous handmade no-sew fleece blankets to hospitals. Each blanket is thoughtfully crafted to offer not only warmth, but also a sense of comfort and care during a patient’s hospital stay.
Designed with soft fabrics and calming colors, these blankets are a small gesture with a big purpose — to remind someone they are not alone, and that kindness can be felt in even the quietest moments.
